Pros

People you work with try their best to be successful. You will build some good relationships.

Cons

Executive leadership is condescending on open conference calls. Lack of respect for older employees. If you like working in chaos you will like working at CompuCom.

Pros

Sometimes good coworkers. Jobs are usually relatively easy if you are technically competent at all.

Cons

Does not take care of their employees whatsoever and is practically the poster-child of what is wrong with corporations. They consistently hire in new people and pay them more than what their existing people make. They never do cost of living raises, and if you get promoted to a position that pays significantly more than what you make, you’ll still make your existing pay for months/years, then MIGHT get a $1 raise. This is consistent with others I knew at the company, and is still true years later based on what I know about the salaries of people working there versus the job postings.

Pros

Great experience. Good place to build more resume padding and IT skills. Fairly good opportunity to transfer between different job roles/departments Good people (outside management).

Cons

Compucom does NOT give raises. Ever. They can (and will) try to low ball every employee they hire, and just deny any sort of wage increase outside of a direct promotion to a more senior job. (Despite charging the contract company substantially more) Not even cost of living wage increases over the last 10 years. If you want benefits (vacation, health insurance, etc) you actually take a reduction in pay to compensate. If you are assertive and are in the position to be hired or promoted, you need to haggle for more money.
