Pros
Good benefits and starting vacation allotment. Reasonable starting pay. Very little supervision (if you are the type of person that doesn't want to interact with supervisors).
Cons
No opportunity for raises (ever). What you start at is the same pay you will have after many years with the company. No option for advancement or even interdepartmental transfers. Management is very distant from other employees and generally disregard whatever issues you bring to them. Once they literally sent out a company wide email claiming "record profits for the year" and listed the millions of dollars gained and followed up within a week with a company email saying "due to the tough economy all raises and bonuses will be frozen this year".
