      Good place to work if you want steady income for minimal work

      Pros

      One has a lot of time for family and weekends off.

      Cons

      RTL's - have no power to make changes No raises will be given Not informed about your performance until you receive complaints Unskilled workers will not be fired Paper work galore

      Pros

      Very large customer base, so lots of opportunities to move around Decent benefits package, including 15 days PTO to start They leave competent consultants alone, allow us to get on with the job

      Cons

      15 days PTO isn't the best... it should be 20 and increase annually. I have never had any company communication - newsletters or otherwise, and opportunities don't get communicated.

      Decent entry level technical job

      Pros

      I was able to be promoted to do different types of technical work and it lead me to create a career path for me in IT. If you worked hard and showed talent you could be promoted to do different work.

      Cons

      On the flipside, if you sucked at your job and you did not have the technical skills for the position, you wouldn't get fired. They would simply move you around until you could do a position without anyone complaining. They did not do a good job screening for positions. The cost of Benefits was extremely high for a family and hard to see that much take out of your paycheck to pay for crappy insurance plans.
