Pros

Staff, good sense of camaraderie, like fellow passengers on a sinking ship. Only good thing about the place is if you really need a job, you will get hired. If you have a pulse, you'll be hired. There is an open day in a week and everyone who walks in will get a job

Cons

Everything else. The senior management are the least competent, people friendly individuals you could hope to meet. Advisors are expected to comply with ever-changing and often contradictory Quality procedures and compliance protocols. You are also expected to be expert in landline, broadband, hardware and software faults, apps, TV problems, billing issues, website issues. The list is almost endless, and for the salary, the amount and variety of work expected is insane. The contract turns over staff at a level I have never seen before, and I've worked in lots of disposable jobs like Burger King, etc. We're talking about 50% of the workforce leaving every 3 months, 40 employees a week leaving and 25 new hires, every single week! They are currently begging for overtime and incentivising it with entry to raffles because they are so chronically short of hours. You will receive appallingly inadequate training that will not remotely prepare you for the floor, then when you get onto the floor, you'll find everything you learned in training is incorrect and you'll find that once you get out of the 'nesting', the company's failure to hire floorwalkers (SMEs) means you can sit there with your hand up for 25 minutes or more (or if it's a weekend, you can sit there all day because there won't be any mentors!) The internal systems are shambolic, so you'll find yourself unable to do basic things like book holidays or check schedules. Half of your systems will not work half of the time. You'll find yourself unsupported by management, because the TLs are not actually technically proficient themselves, and in fact, cannot even use the systems or understand any of the processes for the most part. If you do want to progress to management yourself, you'll find that you're expected to do the job for free for about 18 months before you might actually get the job properly. This has happened with the last four would-be TLs and you would have to be a masochist to want to strive for promotion under such circumstances.
