Pros

-Remote work -Getting paid -Have nothing else

Cons

Depending on what companies you get under the "Congruex Family" YMMV, although a lot of the issues occur everywhere within the companies. Work is being outsourced to India and there is a huge language barrier. Expected to pick up the slack and get blamed for every little thing. Training documents have been created for the designers, yet do not get used. If you are in the states, be prepared to answer the same questions, that are in the training document, multiple times a week. Have been here a few years and I still get asked the same exact questions I answered the previous week, Management does not care about the quality. Only thing that matter is On Time Performance. The companies under Congruex have lost work with clients, but they do not care because they just bid for more work elsewhere and the cycle begins again. Will be expected to pick up work in a new market, learn it, and then teach others who do not understand what a fiber cable is. For all OT you will be forced to do to meet deadlines, you will be given a GRIT Coin, instead of a proper yearly raise or anything else. You may also be given a "high five" on their High Five app. Instead of giving out raises, they spend money on setting up an app where you can high five each other for going above and beyond. If that isn't enough to convince you, then if you come from another telecom company, expect to be moved upward with little pay raise but more work responsibilities. Those who don't know anything will just get by doing the minimum as possible while you take on the work, and again, as long as work gets pushed out, no matter the quality, no one will care

Pros

I have been working with CHC, now part of Congruex for a number of years and have had a great experience. I have been able to develop and grow my knowledge in multiple areas of telecom design, in an environment that allows me to succeed at my pace. I am a huge fan of the environment where there is some flexibility in work schedule (life happens, and here I can work with that) as well as unit pay structure (the more proficient I can get the more $$ I can make!) I have seen the company grow both in size and in the number of clients it supports.

Cons

There can be some confusion with management decisions not being relayed all the way down - but if you ask the questions you can usually get an answer.
