You are correct that building a book of business requires fortitude, but the reward is so sweet. In addition to the robust compensation, account managers provide solutions to their customers to advance their offerings, create lasting fruitful partnerships and acquire new skills and knowledge. As a Small Business Account Manager, developing a diverse portfolio doesn’t happen instantaneously. Small Business Account Managers are educated on Connection’s offerings and competitive advantages. Additionally, sales skills training includes, but is not limited to assessing customer needs, engaging technical resources and building customer loyalty. You are encouraged to engage your manager and/or sales resources relative to building a successful portfolio and developing additional skills to be the Small Business Account Manager who makes favorable impressions with customers and colleagues alike.
