We relish your sentiments. While we acknowledge we have a generous earned time allowance and comprehensive benefits offerings, we hope, like you, that our employees find CNXN a fabulous place to work. In the interest of our wellness initiatives and acknowledging the psychological benefits of interacting with colleagues, employees are not confined to their cubicles. We want all of our employees to experience the “awesome” atmosphere while experiencing comradery during the course of their work day. Stand up and take a stretch or conversely, take a stroll through the office or on one of our walking trails. Thank you for your positive assessment.

Great Company, Benefits, and Potential

Pros

I love working here and love all the learning opportunities I was able to take advantage of at Connection. The benefits are great, the activities and events are greatly appreciated, and the people you directly work with really start to feel like your 2nd family. The directors and supervisors really understand their employees and help in any way they can. The company really tries to make the atmosphere as positive and enjoyable as possible. Free fruit, free snacks, birthdays, potlucks, holidays, the list goes on! You don’t find this anywhere else.

Cons

The pay is decent but unfortunately does not match up to the work load you endure. The parent company really limits the potential to all their subsidiaries. The sales reps are extremely difficult to work with and definitely can make the day much more frustrating than it needs to be. Systems, procedures, and programs are all a little dated. There are much easier ways to accomplish daily tasks but the managers (understandably) seem a little set in their ways and are scared of change. Business is growing rapidly but the procedures and solutions are not being adjusted accordingly, leaving employees feeling very overwhelmed (specifically in finance). However, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives.
