Thank you for your review. We agree, that any employee needs to take responsibility for their own career. That said, PC Connection has a tremendous track record of employees advancing internally. We are proud to say that 2 of our 3 sales Presidents started in entry level sales. PC Connection is loaded with employees with 15, 20, and even 30 years of experience, and we have the highest tenure level in the channel for Sales employees. Having said this, we do agree your manager should be mindful of helping you achieve your goals and should review periodically your performance to goals.

Our modular workstations are designed for both comfort and efficiency by way of a concept that assures an ease of collaboration among associates. We have validated that our workstation design is ergonomically and functionally adequate, and we monitor these standards on an ongoing basis.

Flexible work hours, the ability to remote in from home, no micro-management and the people I work with are the best things about working here.

Cons

Whether you're a recent college grad or have been here for some time, the salary is well below market. There's very little chance a recent college grad could support him/herself on the starting salary. There is also no real career path or defined advancement opportunities.

The majority of our positions are filled internally and jobs are posted for staff to bid on and win based on their qualifications and performance. We encourage you to discuss your career potential with your Manager or Human Resources. We feel our salaries are competitive for the areas in which we compete for talent, and we regularly review our compensation and benchmark them to similar companies. Our low attrition rate particularly in our support areas is a testament to this.
