Pros

Free turkey. Start off with lots of vacation.

Cons

HR will guilt trip domestic violence victims into not pressing charges, because they need him to run a software only he can use. HR will bully employees with a Covid positive family member (same residence) into coming back to work instead of staying in quarantine. Config lab management will lie, bully, and pick favorites. Management frequently says that if you dont feel well or a family member is sick to just stay home "That's what sick time is for" but you WILL be scrutinized and punished for using it. Could not plan a child's birthday party.

Pros

Total autonomy in your work, learn a lot about the IT industry quickly, ability to make great money, mid level managers are excellent.

Cons

The CEO & entire leadership team should be replaced after 2020’s show. They reacted to IT challenges, the pandemic, and internal struggles so badly that it probably can’t be fixed. Morale is really bad. They take accounts away that you work for months or years building up and the internal processes are such time wasters that you rarely have time to actually do your real job.

Pros

Little to none. They do have a snack cart that comes around once in a while, but you have to listen to a sales pitch before you're allowed to eat anything.

Cons

Where do I start? Vagrant inappropriateness regularly in the office, lack of empathy for employees, and a total "boys club". Once the executive team decides that you're "okay", they treat you way better than everyone else. That means a couple of things. 1 - If they don't like you, no matter how arbitrary of a reason, you will not succeed. 2- They will slowly push you out until you are either forced to quit or fired flat-out. 3 - If someone they "favor" does something inappropriate, or any other negative thing, they will not be fairly disciplined because they're "favored". This has happened to SO many employees and friends of mine that I'm not surprised in the slightest that management will go to any lengths necessary to hire a bunch of people. (Including posting false employee reviews of the company.) Oh yea, and if you're hired as a salesman, congrats! That means making 60+ phone calls a day, getting yelled at by their uneducated sales coaches/management if you don't make your metrics, and being constantly watched on when you clock in and when you clock out. God forbid you have to attend a child's baseball game, are stuck in traffic, or have any other normal thing happen in your life that would cause you to be occasionally late/ have to leave early. It is a cesspit of despair. Even if this post resonates with one prospective employee, I'll feel that my honesty was worth it. PS: Connection’s responses to negative reviews are largely condescending misdirections and fabrications.
