Terrible work environment

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Flexibility to work from home.

Cons

The executive team are micro managers. The morale is terrible, Salaries are extremely low, many employees work 2 jobs. Managers bully direct reports instead of listening to their real struggles. When reports are made to HR, the offender is often given a pass and the victim is provided with an excuse and unauthentic apology. The work environment is negative and extremely stressful without many accolades.

It’s disheartening to hear an account manager state they experience a “terrible work environment”. Not only is sales leadership tasked with developing a sales organization that is responsive to the needs of our customers, they are charged with exemplifying organizational harmony. It’s important that employees have a clear understanding of the business objectives and their responsibilities relative to achieving those expectations. By design, sales departments have an emphasis on results. Our sales management team establishes realistic and attainable sales goals based on tenure. Base line metrics not only establish accountability throughout the sales organization, but they provide valuable insight for business and staffing operations. Additionally, account managers are provided with the necessary resources to achieve success in attaining results. While it may be a performance oriented environment, in our opinion, it’s a collaborative, friendly atmosphere where there is a balance between reinforcement, results and rewards. One of the most notable rewards is the total compensation. In addition to a base salary and comprehensive benefit offering, account managers are eligible for commissions, bonuses and special incentive programs. While the particulars of the employee investigation are not known, trust that fostering a work environment of mutual respect is of utmost importance to Connection. Employees are expected to conduct Company business with integrity while exercising good judgment and common sense in their interaction with colleagues. We genuinely respect and value our employees. If any employee experiences to the contrary, they are encouraged to engage a member of the management team and/ or a Human Resources Business Partner.

Pros

3 weeks of vacation to start

Cons

This company couldnt plan a childs birthday party. The amount of unorganization is unbelievable. Our quarterly luncheon/meeting yesterday was the same ole song and dance, lies and false promises. Its funny that they blame the economy for not being able to find people to stay and work. Upper management is not smart enough to realize they cant keep people because of their actions and they cant hire experienced people because of the low pay. Its stupid how many times one of the VPs has to apologize for not listening to the employees and then turns around and preaches employee empowerment. This place is a zoo.

Connection makes considerable investments in recruiting talent and retaining employees. In light of an influx of significant program rollouts at the TIDC, there is a demand for more talent. In addition to strategically repositioning resources and employing technology to streamline the fulfillment process, we’ve successfully procured a contract recruiter to secure the talent needed to meet our customer requirements. By investing in our employee population through a competitive, comprehensive toward rewards package, committing to educational and professional improvement opportunities and providing emerging technical equipment, tools and resources, Connection demonstrates the commitment to the welfare of our employee population and the success of the organization.

Pros

The people you work with

Cons

This place don’t care about anyone. Management wise. People work hard and long hours for not enough pay. You can’t survive on the pay you get if you have a house car excedra on your own. The preach bout giving your input an having a voice with the company or how to make things easier on workers but in reality they don’t care what you have to say or if you have a family. You work like a dog over time all the time working 6 days a week if you have a family or plan to have one don’t plan on seeing them. Because you will be tired all the time all you’ll have time to do is sleep since you will be so exhausted. Some employees you get stuck with sit on there butt the whole time and make you do all the work or find yourself working by your self because they’ll be to busy walking around. Favoritisms a great issue there all the good workers that actually work get treated like there always in the wrong while others are doing nothing get treated like there such great workers. People work hard for money these days to survive but here you can work you butt off an not get what’s needed to survive. Also the higher management love to brag bout all the new things they got because they make the money to survive. All I have to say is you’ve been warned bout working here. And I hope everyone that works there find better opportunities to have a better happier life by leaving there! They deserve it. All the people I worked with were amazing people and deserve the best!
