Pros

You go through extensive training and are exposed to a wide variety of IT working for this solutions provider. For better or worse, you are exposed to the entirety of the sales cycle- from cold calling and earning business to ensuring that all products and services are delivered to your customer in a timely manner.

Cons

Management’s got stale ideas on how to connect with both employees and customers. Systems and physical environments are old and tired. When it snows - even if it’s bad out- you’re expected to come in and work a full day. I was once sent home last Just because I drove a wrangler. There is a high turnover rate here because of the low pay, sonthis negatively affects morale on a constant basis.

Cons

Too much oversight from upper management. Bridge pay for the first 3 years so your base goes down every year decisions are slow

Good old boys network in Corporate - women beware

Pros

For men, worklife balance is good and there is room to advance. The cafeteria set-up is nice, and the occasional snack carts were nice. I learned a lot, but only because I busted my bum. If you are a guy, it is not a bad place to work.

Cons

For women, you will work longer hours, be overlooked for promotions and generally treated like a second class citizen. This has gone on for years, and HR and senior management know it. Strange that the company is majority owned by a woman, and yet this is the worse gender discrimination I have ever seen in my career. The ratio of men salaries and titles to women is shocking, never mind the perks of long lunches and less hours that men have. Truly amazing that this goes on in this day in age.
