Commission structure is dismal. Slow to adapt to market change. System extranets do not meet customers needs or wants.

Thank you for your feedback on working at Connection. Connection provides a compensation structure for Account Managers by providing a bridge for the first several years as new Account Managers build their books of business. Our compensation plans are reviewed to see if they are yielding the desired results. We understand the challenges you mention with systems and there have been a number of enhancements that have been made and there will continued investment in operational efficiencies.

We understand your concern—and we share your enthusiasm for optimizing our processes and improving our business tools—which is why we’ve made significant investments in those strategic areas. Providing access to the right tools, resources, and training is one of our highest priorities. Our Executive Team has implemented a company-wide prioritization to align our IT strategy with our business strategy. As part of that initiative, we have completed the deployment of several new tools to different areas of the company. However, due to the segmented nature of these teams, the full impact of these improvements may not be visible across the entire organization. Many of your coworkers are hard at work integrating new systems and refining our business processes. As more of these in-flight projects reach completion, we hope you will see the full scope of the progress that has been made. In the meantime, your leadership team will strive to do a better job of illustrating and communicating these improvements to all employees. Thank for your favorable comments on our work environment, benefits and perks. Regarding commissions, our inside sales people have the opportunity to build and nurture a business with unlimited income possibilities, no travel, no weekends and limited overtime.
