Pros

Decent pay, Good work. Fun improving the relationship with your customers.

Cons

Terrible management. If a manager is performing poorly, if an employee is performing poorly, it isn't strike 1, strike 2 strike 3, they get 6 months or more of failing. Which trickles down to the employees. Commission structure changes constantly, seemingly as soon as you find a way to like the current one. Good luck having any kind of a voice that goes against the totalitarian upper management.

Thank you for the feedback. We agree totally with leadership being accountable for performance and making their employees better. I would caution that you may not always see what is going on behind the scenes so it is hard to comment specifically on a "1 - 2 - 3 Strike" process. You are also not correct on compensation plans. The last 3 compensation plan structural changes were 10/2015... 02/2017... 03/2018. If there is anything we can do to help you better understand the amazing opportunities you have with the compensation plan or if you are not receiving the direction you need at the store level - do not hesitate to let me know. We always have an open door policy. Jason@connectivitysource.net

Pros

Great leadership that is quick to shift from failing strategies. Ideas are welcomed and rewarded. They put genuine effort into fostering a sense of community even though the stores cover a vast area. Very smart at finding the gaps in the areas they set up in giving you the opportunity to succeed. The Store was provided with the best selection of inventory I’ve ever encountered.

Cons

Training was significantly below average for the industry. The first month was trial by fire. At least 50% of the training was completely irrelevant to the job. We trained on systems we never used and used systems we never trained on. Sprint customer service at the call center level is by far the worst I’ve ever encountered. It is almost as if they are trained to defer everything to the stores and offer no assistance to good customers consistently. Accessories are very difficult to sell in a landscape with Amazon. The customers know and you know you’re paying $49.99 in store for an accessory listed on Amazon for $10. It’s just a fact. Last but not least ... the network is bad. Like 5-7 years behind Verizon. Price is great but if you can’t use it $1 is expensive. It is difficult to both be honest and make sales when your product is unquestionably inferior. Expect to lose 5-10 sales per month simply due to the network. That being said I do see things trending upward whereas Verizon and AT&T are stalled at best.

Thank you for the feedback! I agree people learn different ways... some people are naturals at talking to customers while others it takes role playing and practice. Our training program addresses both aspects to make sure everyone is comfortable with everything. No wireless provider is perfect but we can confidently be the ones that say we give the best experience in stores, offer the best value in wireless, and have the best UNLIMITED plan! These are all things that we can be confident about! Focus on what we can control and we will win! Thank you for all that you do!
