Pros

There is a lot of opportunity for advancement if you are willing to prove yourself and work hard. This job can be very fun and exciting, it is what you make it!

Cons

The higher you climb the more stupid the politics become. I had no support from my manager, I would not even get the time of day. Pay is way below what is fair. I could make $20k more in this same position at any other company.

Pros

-They've been so patient and flexible with my schedule and willing to change it over and over again as my needs have demanded it. Also, the manager of my location hasn't required any minimum number of hours. -You can get up to three weeks of paid time off per year (if you're working full-time). -The manager of my location was VERY ethical, telling us that we don't have to sign somebody up for a plan (which would benefit the company) if we don't think it's in the person's best interests. -You get the opportunity to help people who are crazy stressed about their medicare to be less stressed. That's also in the cons section to some degree, but it's really an opportunity to help people and as you get better at it you find that people frequently become very appreciative by the ends of phone calls. -Outside of the annual enrollment period (Oct ish through Dec 7th) you may have a bit of time where few people are calling in and you can study or read books etc.

Cons

-You can't just take time off October through Dec 7th or so, but you can trade shifts with other employees or just find somebody to pick up your shift. -You can't have your phone out while on the call floor (for legal/privacy reasons). -Sometimes people who you speak to are pretty stressed (medicare is very complicated and people get worried about it. Also, sometimes you have to deal with other people's mistakes somewhat.), but that's also an really wonderful opportunity to help people. So that just depends on the outlook that you take.

Pros

Funny co workers, easy work

Cons

They lie, straight up lie about pay. Said they were going to upgrade pay and did not. Messed up peoples check to the point where some had to wait days for their check. Computer systems are terrible and slow. The training is a joke. The facility is a joke.
