Consolidated Fire Protection management strives to maintain our culture and environment of open communication and team collaboration. We appreciate feedback from current and former employees. On-Call is a requirement set forth in the job description, job postings, and discussed during the interview process. Trained National Account Representatives are scheduled and notified well in advance of their On-Call rotation. The weekend On-Call rotations are spread out and could be scheduled once every 6-8 weeks. There are Account Representatives who request to be scheduled more On-Call rotations to make additional income throughout the year. Due to steady growth of our client base and our employee population, we have added a second rotation to our weekend On-Call effective 03/31/17. Our company has high expectations for our management team, leaders, and employees to regularly meet our customers’ requests and needs. Employees regularly excel within our company when they consistently demonstrate job knowledge, understanding of core business values, motivation to perform well, great time management skills, a desire to exceed expectations, and a great work ethic. We encourage you reach out to management or human resources directly with your concerns/ suggestions to improve your experience with CFP.

Pros

They can keep you busy. They pay a decent wage. They have a lot of opportunities to move around from team to team and will have you believe that you can easily promote.

Cons

They are directed by a local management team that likes to play favorites. If you get in good with the managers, especially the senior guy, Ace, then you'll have a much better chance to move up. There is a ridiculous amount of profanity and vulgarity that is permitted to happen. There's a lot of double standards. Understand that there is a lot of turn over here and there's a reason for it. They work you hard and don't compensate you adequately for what they expect.

Pros

My supervisors are very nice and easy to work with

Cons

Far too much and responsibility/work for $22 an hour. I see people come and go at this place and its most likely due the pay scale here. People constantly have to work OT just to keep up with the work load. I honestly see no growth here because we all get paid 22 and hour unless you are a senior. Some have harder jobs, and some have easier jobs, but we all get paid the same. I don't understand. I have not stopped looking for a job since I got hired here and that's a first for me. Too much work to go around and not enough money to compensate for it. If I'm going to be stressed out all the time at work at least pay me for it but no. Im stressed at work and stressed at home because I have no money. This job is not worth the stress for 22 an hour
