Pros

The company is a great company. A great company to work for because it's fill with nothing but good people. You can trust everyone. Everyone is working towards a common goal and working hard. The manager and higher ups care about all of their employee. My manager was a great manager who would stick up for anyone in her team. This company is a great company to work for. I highly recommend it to any of my friends and family. They treat all of their employees well and would go back if i didn't relocate.

Cons

If you aren't a good worker, the workload is overwhelming. Just work hard and you'll see it's not so bad.

Pros

In my short time at CFP, I really enjoyed the people and the work. As soon as I walked in for my interview, I was greeted by the office manager, she is amazing. After going through the interview process, I knew - I wanted to work there. The first 3 days of classroom training was organized, easy to understand with a lot of direction. 5 star training for sure... Once, the classroom training was completed, I was released to my team, I began training with dispatch prior to my position as a National Account Representative. Again, 5 star training .. he was informative, provided templates, reasons behind them, when to use them, step by step processes, side by side training which I really liked. My team was welcoming, the office manager, training manager, HR manager, my direct manager and the entire management staff was professional and approachable. The position / industry can be learned with time and repetition but what's difficult to teach is leadership skills. My manager has phenomenal leadership qualities, she is capable of working with different personalities, people and situations. I really enjoyed working for my manager. My goal was to work for a stable company in a long term position. CFP is a stable company and open to feedback. I did inform my manager, my workload was light in the beginning during certain times, I didn't have much to do. That issue was resolved and I'm sure the company appreciates someone who wants to work hard versus someone who wants to sit around and do nothing. I prefer being busy in all parts of my life and working in a fast paced environment, that's one of the reasons, I initially chose this position. I thrive in an organized approachable training environment and I'm capable of learning as I'm working on my Masters degree. I would have worked hard for the company but without proper training, it's difficult to succeed. I believe, success begins with good training, which I had in the very beginning. My team was always very helpful and answered any questions I had.

Cons

The only reason I decided to leave was...often times, I was asked to complete tasks I was never trained on or not thoroughly trained on. The majority of my training took place via email and the requests weren't always clear, It could be confusing if the emails were for "training purposes" or to send the revisions to the client. The earlier hands on training was much more clear and straight forward. This is the first time, I've experienced this type of training. It was my responsibility to ask for help, additional work or new projects instead of a training plan coordinated by my senior trainer. I was looking forward to learning from her as I found her very knowledgeable and intelligent. There were times, it was difficult to approach my senior trainer. But in her defense, she is very busy and was more open to those, who she is comfortable with (in my opinion) ..plus, I can be shy / introverted at times. Perhaps, it was never an issue in my previous positions because they are more familiar with working with different personalities or a different industry (I'm not sure). Overall, I loved working at CFP, loved the management, people and employee friendly environment. I wish everyone the best :-)
