Endurance is harvesting Constant Contact

Pros

Pre-Acquisition from the Endurance Holding Corp, it was a very wealthy, generous and fun company to work for. Generous to a fault, really.

Cons

The company had an undying faith that many more millions in revenue were to be extracted from the email marketing industry. Which often seemed entirely untethered to reality. The tech stack was aging. Entire operations teams needed to go and move everything to the cloud. But that was never going to happen. I believe in the entire history of the company, IT NEVER HAD A LAYOFF. And boy, did it need one. Now it got one, by way of a horrible acquisition that will harvest the company in the worst way possible.

Pros

At one time all pros, you can hear about them in many of the reviews already listed. You will find pros from people outside of support and sales, because they treat the rest of the company very well. Only positive to working in support or sales is if you like the idea of a sweatshop in cubicles. That's all it is. If you can come into a position outside of support or sales, you will be very happy.

Cons

You can also read them in many of the reviews listed. Worst part is they have seen the negative reviews, have had employees take surveys on how they feel about working here and the sales and support numbers are always awful. What do they do about it? Nothing have a few meeting to discuss, make promises of changes, make minor changes occasionally, but they never address the real issues. It's almost like lip service to cover the real issues.

Pros

They try to do fun things to keep moral up (beer cart, themed lunches/pot lucks, holiday party and summer outings) It use to be a great place to work- the culture and environment really shifted Health insurance and most benefits are good

Cons

You constantly see great people leaving for better (they are not good at retaining talent) Decision makers are not qualified (with talent leaving, they are promoting more and more strictly on politics vs. qualifications) You can't trust the HR department (usually HR is an intermediary between the employee and the company, not the case here anymore.)
