Still maturing, great place to be able to make a personal contribution to a business.
Pros
Still dependent on good people, great place to make an impact as opposed to being a Cog in a process wheel. Very visionary and always trying new things, not afraid to be a bit different. They do treat people well, good benefits and compensation. Very capable management team. The industry is the best in the world. Great assets and properties to visit. Icons in the industry associated with the Company. Very good supporters of continuing professional development.
Cons
Reliance on autonomous divisional support sometimes creates clunky processes and politics that can cause inefficiencies and frustrations. Once Constellation decides to divest, the people management can suffer a bit and people may find the transition unpleasant (not that any of those transitions are ever nice). The quarterly pressure of a public company puts undue pressure on a business with a long-term product cycle like wine.
