Pros

decent pay, easy system, well program for free benefits, discount on plan was a plus, also had some events for workers

Cons

- call monitors are a joke most of the time - supervisors don't really help, they tell you what you've already tried, some tss's are not that great either they just have attitudes. - attendance policy is way to much; (For example: me and Fiance having child, complications arose so had to be away from work, managers did not believe me so terminated me because I went past the policy, however I'm not going to let something go wrong with my unborn child, and nothing I could do to make up time or give proof to show them, also managers sarcastically said hope everything goes good with the baby even though now I was jobless)

Pros

The atmosphere at Consumer Cellular is outstanding and full of positivity. It is easy to get along with almost everyone here and create new professional and personal friendships. For the area the pay is competitive and you are part of a quickly expanding/growing company so their is allot of opportunity to grow in the company if your put the work in. Your hours are a guaranteed 40 a week with the choice of doing OT when it is available plus they have paid vacation time you accrue. I would say one of the best things though is company events where the owners often will come to the call center and you have the ability to talk to them. They are very approachable and friendly and makes you feel valued.

Cons

Because the company is growing at a really quick rate there has been need to adjust schedules twice over the past year. The most recent adjustment did not have many options leaving myself with a hard time maintaining a work/life balance. Much like any call center the work can get stressful and or tedious at times and is a swiftly changing environment so you have to be will to accept and adapt to a fast paced/ changing environment. At times it can seem there is a lack of involvement from Senior Management due to work schedules and there availability. Last thing- even though the pay is competitive and well for the area I feel some positions are underpaid for the amount of work/ tasks they have to complete especially if you are at the top with pay maxed out.

Pros

Competitive pay. Decent 401k. Not worth what you will have to deal with. Keep looking

Cons

A company which was once simply different has become incompetent in trying to be a player in the field.
