Oh Geez, where do I even begin...absolutely no training provided, I literally had to train myself on every aspect of my position, if you ask anyone any questions about how to do your job you get reprimanded. Management is unresponsive to caregivers, clients, and administrative employees that have concerns, they never answer their phones, return voicemails, or answer emails from anyone beneath them. The company has no problem eliminating the positions of employees who have been here more than 10 years. There is a massive turnover rate in this company because the practices that take place here are so unethical, that either employees quit because they cannot deal or they get fired for no good reason. Management bases employees reviews on their own personal judgment of the employee not on their actual work ethics. HR is a joke, and if you try to go to HR to voice your concerns, they will find a reason to write you up. There are no weekly meetings to discuss everyday issues within the company. If you do something that the company does not like they will tell you not to do it anymore, even if it is not a part of the company handbook, but they will act like it is a part of the handbook, and probably revise really fast if you tried to bring it to court. The dress code and other rules in the handbook only apply to those they want it to apply to, like mentioned before, if you know someone, you are not required to follow rules but other will still be required. There is no compassion for clients and this company does not value their employees one bit. There is 0 job security here, HIPAA regulations are constantly being broken with both clients and caregivers, but this is all done behind the scenes so they don't know what is happening. When the issue was brought to someone's attention, I was reprimanded and written up for bringing the topic up. IT is terrible at their job, they can hardly fix anything and when they do, a lot of other areas get screwed up. People get promoted for no good reason while the ones who work really hard and are good at their jobs are kept at the bottom of the totem pole. Good feedback is never heard at least in this building, it is a very negative environment here and whenever the supervisor comes into our office, we know it is going to be bad, there has not been one time since I have started here where the manager has told us nice job or thank you. Also I have caught our supervisor more times than I can count either on her phone, on Facebook on her computer, or online shopping while on the clock. Definitely overworked and underpaid!
