Pros

There are some wonderful people who work here. I generally really enjoyed the work that I did. Depending on the department, you can have decent work/life balance. Where I was at was good.

Cons

The company took a hard left turn in 2023 and has hit the gas, full speed ahead, ever since. The last straw for me was the compensation restructure that went live in 2023, that screwed so many people out of their raises. In August of 2024, they did a series of calls with employees sharing what work was done to improve the comp structure since they'd received so many complaints about it. On these calls, time and time again, people raised concerns about how they were supposed to get raises or raises were put on hold only for them to not get raises like they were supposed to. The comp folks on the call tried to say they were one-off situations, but it's a systemic failure to employees. The comp restructure was advertised as something good in 2023. The company lost hundreds of workers due to voluntary separation packages, only to sucker punch the ones that stayed with sh!tt!er raises, and a Sorry you're SOL. The ones that stayed were left to pick up the slack for the ones that left. That was on top of a mandatory return to office mandate in May of 2023, and then they rolled back benefits in October of 2023, including benefits on retirees and parental leave. The mentality is very much dont like it, leave. Which I finally did, and many other are as well. Or at least they're trying to.

Corporate Politics

Business Outlook

Pros

Job stability and lots of different areas to move if desired.

Cons

The corporate Politics here are insane. In the 4 years I have worked for this company I have never once felt secure in my position no matter how hard I work. Someone is always targeting you and trying to destroy your career. I have never worked for a company that allowed management to treat employees so horribly. The corporate politics that you must navigate to work here is ridiculous. Someone is always aggressively trying to make you look poorly in front of other people. When you defend yourself you are viewed as being overly aggressive and not a "Team player". This means a person has to take the "criticism" with no ability to defend yourself.

Bad Culture

Business Outlook

Pros

Good benefits and jobs around the whole state.

Cons

Terrible culture. They say they care and want to make improvements by fixing problems but they never do. They rarely ever fix problems. We are told we are empowered to do make improvements but we really aren't. Training is terrible or even non existent. Upper mgt wastes a lot.of money.
