Pros
Continental offers a challenging yet incredibly rewarding work environment and experience. You get a sense for our culture the moment you walk through the door, admittedly it's not a fit for everyone but for many it strikes a great balance between work and fun. If you want to be surrounded by smart, hardworking, and charismatic professionals than Continental is the place for you. The benefits package is outstanding and the compensation is competitive for most positions. Senior management is approachable and tries hard to avoid bureaucratic decision making. There is a clearly articulated vision that is revisited each quarter. Employees have a sense for what is going on at all levels and the communication is more transparent from the top down than most organizations. Additionally, the campus is both impressive and beautiful and the office setting top notch.
Cons
The expectations are incredibly high; if you are not willing to work harder and smarter than before and invest in continuous improvement than Continental probably isn't right for you. Management is still learning to appreciate the ability for employees to work from anywhere at any time. I've seen improvement in this area over the past few years but some of the more traditional managers who "grew up" at Continental have a hard time embracing this concept and relinquishing the control over their employees' schedules.
