Pros

Lot of cheerful talk form Upper Management- Makes you feel like they care but not really. - Pay is ok - Vacation plan is decent.

Cons

I was a Sr Engineer for 6+ years at their Troy location on H1-visa. Their immigration process is horribly slow & very bureaucratic. Senior Management is old, very political and no encouragement for internal talent. After 6+ years, all the needed experience, good annual reviews and PMP I was denied various PM role on multiple occasions for silly reasons, No promotions or growth. Management is eager to bring in new people and train them rather than encourage internal talent to take up leadership roles. Very traditional and old school management style. I feel like a waste of my time and talent with no growth. Finally, I'm out and do not recommend.

Pros

The working level co-workers are the best because you are all stepped on by HR and management. You are only there because of the people around you and the desire to not leave them holding the bag

Cons

1. Low Salaries compared to the OEMs and competitors 2. Expectation of significant overtime with a pat on the back being the only compensation 3. During all employee meetings and other large meetings, HR blocks the questions they don't want made public to the rest of the organization. Hard to ask for changes when they won't answer questions openly. 4. HR talks down to employees and holds so much power that it's better to leave the company and return instead of work hard and prove your worth 5. Extremely complex engineering process with little knowledge in upper management of the work required 6. Amount of work required on projects is 2-3x managements expectation.
