Flexible schedule, fun atmosphere. New management makes you feel like they want you involved.

Cons

Not the most high tech. Lack some specialist but getting better. Staffing can be an issue

Never experienced one season of lay-offs. They were adamant about not laying off employees; instead, the hospital chose to not give bonuses- pretty good job security. Small "home-town" hospital.

Cons

Management can make or break the morale of a department. Nurse salaries are not comparable to that of other hospitals in the region.
