Pros
I love the people! Everyone from the housekeepers to the CEO are, for the most part, genuinely nice and pleasant to be around. I love only having to work three days a week. It's a great job for students. I was able to attend school full time and work here full time. Scheduling is flexible, at least in my department since we have to stay open 24/7.
Cons
The nature of the secretary job can be rough, especially if you can't take a constant barrage of annoying sounds. A phone is always ringing, a call light is always dinging, a doorbell is always going off, and a nurse is always asking for something and, as dumb as it sounds, it can really get overwhelming sometimes. You MUST be good at multitasking and time management. On a more nit-picky note, the pay is low compared to other hospitals. Also, the food is pretty bad and there are barely any healthy options. It's generally deep fried and smothered in cheese.
