Pros

Flexibility to move around the company if you have the drive for it. Everyone is friendly and ready to help.

Cons

Somewhat large market swings from very high production levels to lower steady state. As with any manufacturing company there are layoffs to control costs.

Pros

Decent benefits, though could use improvements since the company seemed to change it to a even worse insurance than what it had before. Few paid holidays were nice. The easiest work you'll ever do.

Cons

The management here is a joke. Management seems to be hugely disconnected with what operators needed to do their jobs and hired some of the most vile people you could think of (legally speaking) and are habitual liers. Certain employees worked harder than others and saw no progression which led to the overall reduction of productivity as a whole. Job Progressions is useless if you're not buddy-buddy with anyone upper management, do not expect to move up to anything useful. Company loves to scare off their employees of fear of layoffs without giving direct answers which kills productivity across the board, yet the plant manager can't seem to acutally give an honest answer, a true good ole boys club.

Pros

Unless you punch someone, you likely will not be fired even if your quality and productivity are poor. Schedule is rigid but never changes if your not interested.

Cons

Pay is based on what plant management thinks it would cost to replace you. If you don't like it, you have to literally quit for a job with higher pay, and prove you made that income for them to meat or beat. If they do, They will beat by about 0.25$/Hr.
