Pros

As 2 well established companies that have come together, there's amazing change, growth opportunities and support; for employees and the members we serve.

Cons

There's growing pains, some confusion but a lot of excitement!

Pros

Great members , mostly good Case Management team and a great Peer and Family group.

Cons

Low pay over all. Also I believe that Case Management are paid low we have a great Peer and Family group who is not just unappreciated but make the lowest pay in the company who would give not just the members the shirt off thier back but co workers too. It just hurts to see these Peer Support who give thier hearts for thier members be treated like garbage being pushed around and used and some of these peersupports been with the company more than 3 years and are still making the low dollar they started with they are unappreciated for thier work being judged and pushed to help thier teams to the point they have no say and I witnessed these beautiful souls take the punches and even try to advocate for themselves and still being denied. Copa should thank thier lucky stars for having these peersupports in the clinic they are the reason majority of our members come to the clinic.let all be equal not just us case managers they are hard working staff too our peersuport who can relate with our members so with that lets treat them like the diamonds they are across the board.

We agree! And in response Copa Health has instituted a merit pay program for each and every employee to have the opportunity to raise their compensation. We appreciate your comments and strive to be one of the best places to work in Arizona.

New Values Nothing like those with PIR

Pros

Clinicians continue to provide good care

Cons

The new management is money driven and patients needs are low priority. The days of PIR "your voice your choice" is nonexistent for patients. New management is top heavy in administration and do not address the concerns of their employees. New mamagent have been placed at the sites that run the clinic by scare tactics instead of working with employees like they used to at PIR. HR is nonresponsive and has high overturn. There is high overturn at the clinics due to new managment at sites that once were stable for over 10 years. New CEO has very limited knowledge or experience with SMI population and her administration does not take suggestions from those in the organization who are experts with this population.
