Pros

I enjoyed my coworkers and my job itself. Responsible commute, holiday pay and PTO. Its a good stepping stone to a career outside of some of the locations

Cons

If you don't stay on the good side of management then you are at risk for being pushed out the door. Very caddy place to work.

Pros

Nice coworkers, pretty good team spirit, my managers were very nice but seemed afraid of their own upper management. People really care for the patients and take the job very seriously. Patient safety is very important to everyone.

Cons

Always understaffed, management drag their feet to get new hires. We would lose a person, then another, then another...they would hire one new person and call it good. The census went up and up, but they wouldn't hire more people to handle the increased workload. Also, for God's sake, buy a TPN compounder! Those poor mixing techs are making 40 or 50 TPNs a day by hand, in addition to the regular antibiotics, etc. A compounder can knock out a TPN in 5 minutes and all it requires is minimal tech involvement. You guys make a lot of money. Spend some of it.
