Completely unrealistic expectations. Immense pressure to produce.

Pros

If you can succeed in this environment you can succeed anywhere. CVS has brought financial stability and some much needed improvements in clean room safety.

Cons

CVS/Coram has a culture of treating employees as a liability as opposed to an asset. They pay below market wages and constantly push for more production with less employees. There are more patient safety issues with an overworked employee than there ever was in a clean room. This is not a result of "right sizing", this is corporate profit driving at the detriment of patient safety. Errors have become common to produce the amount of drug pushed through the door daily and there is pressure to always say yes to a paying referral.
