Pros

Wonderful patients & Interesting cases. Many learning opportunities.

Cons

Extremely Poor NURSING Management. Initial orientation Incredibly inadequate. Most employees are Caring Team members however the certifiable Craziness calling the shots drives the Best employees away. So many RN’s frustrated with lack of organisation on the Inside & blatant favouritism while sacrificing true quality patient care out in the field many left shaking their heads in disbelief. In the end I too left. Working your full 40+ week then being on call for 7 days in addition to the “regular” load...one can only keep their sanity & practice Safely for so long on 3-4hrs sleep per night. The Ivory tower kept a Revolving door of new RNs until there was actually Zero RNs to cover an assignment much less an emergency. Sadly this office has the potential to be one of the Best in the country but until significant changes are made patient care will only be “adequate” at best.

Pros

Great manager, mostly friendly staff, decent pay (slightly higher than most pharmacy tech jobs).

Cons

Could have used a more proper education supplies orders, had no idea what certain things meant when putting together orders. Very busy. Lots of meetings which felt redundant at times.
