Pros
This is the best company I have ever worked for. The people are amazing, both in terms of their backgrounds and personalities. While every company touts their "great people and culture" to potential candidates, I can truly say Core One delivers on all fronts. - Executive team is excellent. Very down to earth and approachable, extremely hardworking, and genuinely want to help others succeed - Flexible work schedule. I come in whenever I want and leave whenever I want without telling anybody and nobody questions it - Brand new office space with awesome patio - Very hands-off work environment with solid peer/management support structure. Nobody has ever looked over my shoulder checking in on me and nobody has ever rolled their eyes when I ask how to do something or for clarification, even at the C-suite level - Exciting to be part of a rapidly growing company and see actual impact of work on the company and broader mission - Fantastic mission - Ability to take initiative and contribute to many aspects of the company
Cons
- WFH is very difficult and there is a premium on facetime, especially when things are busy (which is fairly frequent) - Organizational communication is lacking at times, particularly from the top-down - No snacks/amenities in the office - New unlimited PTO policy as written has serious flaws - No formal professional development programs/funding for additional training
