-The Sales Operations team is all over the place in terms of roles. It is a mix between Accounting, Marketing, and HR functions with one true Sales Operations Role. It is a conglomerate of roles but not a real team.
-There is a lot gossiping within the Sales Operations team. You have to be a greek life type otherwise you are "not a good fit". If you are the greek life prototype, then that what the Sales Ops team would considered a good hire. Hiring practices in this particular team is based off of personality instead of skills and job capability. They are looking for extroverted, big personalities.
-You cannot simply be good at your job and keep to yourself, you have to contribute to being a "family", they even call management Mom and Dad.
-Once you do have a real family, you will be disposable and replaced. Not a great place for working parents, especially mothers. Do not skip out on team happy hours, you will be judged harshly.
-The systems used do not have cross-department communication, each team uses SFDC differently and does not understand how that affects other teams app functionality.
-Middle Management (not VP) has no great technical skills, expects their employee's to have those skills as they are a communicator between other stakeholders and sales
-No real career growth other than senior promotions and no lateral movements between departments
-Workplace bullies are common if you are in the office, I was able to be remote to avoid this but they do not allow full remote anymore
