Pros

Good benefits and thats about it

Cons

Mid and upper management discriminate against minority groups. HR does nothing about it or anything else you bring to their attention. There is TONS of favoritism. If you are not liked, you will be treated horribly until you finally leave. Pay is horrible. There are staff there that think they are managers and can boss you around and be disrespectful and the actual managers think that is perfectly OK. Stay away from this place.

Pros

Cornerstone Montgomery is an exceptional organization to work for. Upper management is responsive to employee feedback and the CEO has an open door policy to all employees who want to make a suggestion or just come by to say hello. The HR department supports employee engagement and is always coming up with creative ideas to promote a positive work culture. The training and orientation program for new employees is outstanding - anyone with long-term career interests in the field of mental health/evidence based practices/helping others should consider employment here. Very valuable and rewarding work experience...with amazing staff from bottom to top.

Cons

Many of the younger (and frankly, less experienced) staff don't stick around long enough to take advantage of all the benefits that Cornerstone Montgomery offers - career mapping to support professional growth and development and an incredibly generous leave package to name a few!

Pros

You'll love your co-workers and learn a great deal from them. Hours are good also. The clients are good too.

Cons

Mid to upper management irresponsible and heavily engages in favoritism. Horrible place to work if you expect to be rewarded for hard-work and great skills. Don't bother improving policies and procedures, your effort will go overlooked. Very much a "keep your head down and don't make a sound" kind of place to work in terms of management. Very few advancement opportunities and if any be prepared to lose it to someone else willing to brown-nose/ "blindly follow orders."
