Hey there, Cortlandian! We’re glad that you found a position that you love and that our commission structure works for you. We do roll out new programs frequently to help us continue making a name for ourselves in the multifamily industry, and we encourage you to reach out to the Talent Development or Operations Support team with any questions you may have. Additionally, we value and practice an open-door communication policy across all levels of the organization – not just with your direct leader. We encourage you to speak up either within your community or with our Talent Engagement team. #HaveTheCourageToBeBetter – Megan Jackson-Cheatham, Senior Manager of Talent Engagement & Inclusion

Pros

Fun office environment and parties. ACM’s are treated better than PM’s.

Cons

Cortland did not live up to my expectations. I’m stuck in office all day doing ECAC’s and reviewing budgets while never being allowed to make sure visits. The hours will grind you and opportunities for advancement are not available unless you have an inside track to the company’s CEO.

Hey, there. While we’re glad that you love our office environment, we were upset to hear that you are dissatisfied with your associate experience. We know that the hours can be long, but you’ve always got your team at your side to share the load and celebrate the victories. Completing ECACs and reviewing budgets are a necessary part of the position, and we encourage you to speak to your manager about issues you’d like to address. Our open-door communication policy is something we take seriously, and speaking up is the first step to addressing your concerns. -Steve Mauro, VP of Construction Operations
