Great samples if you didn't have your own insurance, they have insurance with Untied Health(Very good coverage) paid for majority of my maternity bills knowledgeable classes about products Earn points for merchandise on company website Friendly Environment for the most part depends on Manager and customers Even with the Cons would still work there

Will mess with your lively hood if you let them. pennies for raises, not enough for what associate has to put up with by the customer even when the customer is completely wrong. NO SECURITY CAMERAS AT ANY STORE AT ALL ANYWHERE AND THE CUSTOMERS KNOW IT SO THEY WILL STEAL BUT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO SAY ANYTHING TO THEM ABOUT IT BUT IF WE COME UP SHORT AFTER AUDIT ITS OUR FAULT.!!!! CORPORATE DOESN'T HAVE ASSOCIATES BACK PERIOD. I DON'T CARE WHAT THEY MAY TELL YOU!!!!! 2015 just now getting WIFI for POS system analog system before then(stone age receipt printer) Keeps Managers stressed out with ridiculous tasks and quotas .....and So much more

Pros

The customer interaction, sales incentives/competitions, product education and benefits were many of the reasons I enjoyed my time at CosmoProf.

Cons

There was zero opportunity to move up or advance. I loved working for the company, but I was an Inside Sales Associate for nearly 10 years. Towards the end of my time, I earned a BA...but still no opportunities.

I Loved the products and the business. Most of the companies would send free samples at least once a month.

Cons

Little pay and insulting raises. I was with the company 7 years and was quickly promoted to Store Manager. If my district didn't hit sales goals, I didn't get a raise. Most years I did not get any pay raise during my review. One year I got 13 cents. Gee. Thanks At one point in my time there, I caught a senior manager shoplifting and taking money from the register to pay the delivery man for her lunch. I called the "anonymous" whistleblower hotline to report using dates and products I SAW HER TAKE! I asked for cameras to be installed so they could see it for themselves. Their response? They called her and asked her if she stole anything. Of course she said no. That was the end of that. Time for me to move on and get another job.
