Minimum wage to start with little to no room for growth. You will be the ONLY person opening and closing the store. No security apparatus in place, so you'll be on duty ALONE at risk of being robbed on the daily. Can't use your discount unless someone else rings you up at the register, but often times there's no one working with you. You will be conducting MANAGERIAL duties: Opening, Closing, Customer Service, Inventory, Going to the bank, Managing Displays, Paying Maintenance People, Calling for Maintenance, Calling the IT Desk in TX everytime the system goes down and much much more. Manager at Marlton DOES NOT put the schedule out in advance, so it's hard to manage multiple jobs at one time. The manager at Marlton cannot keep staff on duty because she's incapable to treating people respectfully. When I was hired there were 2 staff members. They both left almost immediately. Then they hired another person who disliked working there so much, she left as well. They were unable to hire anyone else. Without my permission they began scheduling me for 4 days a week instead of 3 and demanding that I work every Sunday, regardless of my other job or family life. Lastly, the computers systems go haywire on the daily and 100% of the time during busy sales. Their infrastructure is broken. Finally, you will BE REQUIRED to sell credit cards to every customer and they'll commission you $2 per card. If you don't push the card, they'll breathe down your neck until you do at Marlton. None of this will be disclosed in the interview because they're so desperate to hire. Be warned.
