Great incentives, alot of resources, and a fun atmosphere. Theres much information on anything you need help on with training, whether it be videos (visual) or literature (manuals).

Cons

The pay is minimum when starting, very busy on your feet consistantly. Very physical and pretty repetative

Pros of working for CosmoProf include their benefits package that incorporates a 401K with a 4% company match and yearly profit sharing. That investment added up over time

Cons

Cons of CosmoProf are the fact that being Retail, the stores are open 7 days a week and depending on your level of employment, could be required to work between 40 - 46 hours a week.

Pros

Got to work with some amazing industry leaders, salon owners, and stylists. Flexibility in scheduling. Traveling and networking while seeing the latest trends and products.

Cons

Huge disconnect between the reps who call on salons and the people in the office who make the decisions and purchases. The buyers have made some very bad decisions and its the reps who are blamed for an item's failure. The company cannibalizes itself. The stores, outside reps, and inside reps are all competing against each other for sales from the same customers. Lower and mid-level managers usually have no salon experience and lack basic management skills....especially in California. The concept of being a leader escapes them....they are micromanagers.
