Pros

CoreLogic is nation wide, but I work in the OKC office. The people in this office truly have created a great working culture. My leadership is available, attentive, and supportive. My leadership has always prioritizes family and personal life over your work, which is truly appreciated by me. CoreLogic has endless resources available for continued education from an MBA membership, free Linked Learning courses, in house trainings, and more. CoreLogic has created the CoreConnect pillars - PlayMore, GiveMore, LearnMore, and LiveMore for our employees to be able to engage in, which has created a lot of fun and enriching experiences. The OKC Office also has fully stocked fridges with food and snacks, all for free. They offer bi weekly Pilates classes, that are currently virtual due to COVID. There is a small gym available to employees. On good weather days there is a group of employees who will walk a mile in the morning and a mile in the afternoon. They recently implemented a flexible working model where employees can work from home 2 days a week, they continue to evaluate and listen to employee feedback on working from home options. A lot of people at the OKC office have been here since long before CoreLogic bought the former Al La Mode and Mercury companies, which has created a family type of culture. CoreLogic provides "Bravo Points" for employees and each employee can give 10 points to a coworker a month. These end up being 1 point = $1. Leaders will sometimes give you 100 points for going the extra mile. This is a great incentive program to be able to recognize employees more on a day to day basis.

Cons

CoreLogic is a very large company and sometimes it creates too much structure, which can potentially stunt growth. CoreLogic has structured both raises and promotions to only be available once a year. They have also capped the percentage you are allowed a raise around 2.5% - 3%. This means, you could be the best employee the company has ever seen and still only receive a ~3% raise, or you could be the most average employee the company has ever seen and you will still get the ~2.7% raise that everyone else gets. They also cap the raise percentage for promotions, so if you haven't had enough 3% raises to be promoted to the next salary range, you just wont get it. No matter how great you are or how much you deserve it. CoreLogic also does not give annual bonuses. So, make sure when you start you are at the salary range you want to be in for the duration of your employment at the company. I think the starting salaries are competitive and fair at CoreLogic, but the compensation for retention is not competitive enough.

Pros

If you make it past working as a contractor, then the job has decent health benefits and pays more than McDonalds, and you get to learn quite a bit about credit.

Cons

Very boring, monotonous work. No room for advancement as there are a lot of people who've been at the company for 20+ years. No ability to get paid more than $20 an hour after years of working there. The program you use daily is from 2002 (or some year close to that) and has not been replaced with a more user friendly version. Everyone is work from home now and the culture has become non-existent since the transition to work from home.
