Pros

Pay is okay Coworkers are overall pretty nice Pro-deals are good "Positive" workplace Direct supervisors are great and care alot about the employees. PTO and holidays for full time employees is pretty generous.

Cons

Corporate will screw you Benefits have plummeted in quality Management fails to communicate a majority of issues No cohesive workplace building Management repeatedly fails to make sales, then lower employees feel the pressure from that Management has eliminated almost all quality benefits that were once given and replaced with terrible replacements (Gym stipend, travel stipend after 1.5 & 5 years, monthly lunches, paid lunch breaks, etc...) Company presents itself as very positive and engaging with social effects to help eliminate poverty in the global south. This is a great cause to get behind, but the positivity feels extremely toxic and overbearing. This positivity in turn makes any and all efforts to talk about problems with the company, feel wrong. Basically, they have crafted a this false environment, that helps dissuade discussions of actual broad workplace issues. Given the opportunity, corporate probably would outsource if they could; As they already have made the decision to outsource a sizable portion of work from the DC Most of the warehouse software is dysfunctional and impedes work, which of course the blame is then semi put on employees Supervisor turn over is extremely high due to pressure from above them (in my year and a half, there has been 4 supervisors who have left on top of the DC manager who left after 10 years with the company) Raises have been few and far between, with even a meager raise being held over your head. Products are not very well made at the moment. Newer units do seem to be better made, but a large divide for the build quality to price points (even with the employee discount). The HR situation is very disconnected/nonexistent. The HR rep that hired me was laid off a few months after I was hired, then was never truly replaced.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We care deeply about the well-being of our team members—across all departments—and we're committed to fostering a workplace that is both respectful and supportive. While we're proud of the mission and culture we’ve built, we also recognize that there are areas where we must grow, and feedback like this is an important part of that process. Your comments about communication breakdowns, high turnover, and lack of support in the DC are especially concerning. Our leadership team has been actively working to strengthen internal communication, ensure team members feel heard, and transitioning to smarter, more sustainable staffing model. We take seriously the need to provide fair compensation, sustainable workloads, and meaningful opportunities for dialogue with leadership - the door is open through 1:1s, daily stand-ups, routine All Hands meetings, roundtables, office hours, and feedback tools like OfficeVibe. These allow us to make real-time improvements based on direct, actionable feedback. If you're open to sharing more, we’d truly welcome a live conversation— with your Supervisor, GM/AGM, or People Operations. Your insights could help us improve the experience for others. Thank you again for your feedback and for the time you’ve invested with us.

Pros

Discount and some really good people here.

Cons

Walking on eggshells, constantly in reactive mode... rather than being proactive, middle management not knowing what they're doing and having little support from above, managers talking trash of the people who left, and just an overall depressing environment. I'm so disappointed in the massive culture shift of this place. It used to be fun and happy, and now it feel disrespectful and disheartening. I don't even want to use the products the products I own anymore. I'm disgusted by the corporate ways this "Do Good" place went to.
