Pros

fancy downtown building there are nice restaurants downtown not far from the office

Cons

unequal pay for same jobs, management was shocked when employees discussed salaries lots of work expected outside of job responsibilities--encouraged to be a team player and extra work expected but not rewarded a lot of who you know and who you're friends with lots of apparent room for growth with little delivery on that

Pros

- Thoughtful, honest, and intelligent CEO - Colleagues for the most part work hard, are good people, and are a great time to be around - Able to get a lot of responsibility quickly if showing promise

Cons

- Performance management system opaque, where favoritism can impact promotions and raises - Gap between Sales vs. Service compensation potential is large, despite generally similar workloads - Company-wide racial diversity and leadership gender diversity significant areas of improvement - Middle-management very hit-or-miss, and can greatly impact career progression and company satisfaction - Old-school in regards to technology, dress code, and "sales over everything" mentality

Pros

There are many things that make this place special but people and opportunity are truly what sets Cottingham & Butler apart. I’ve been on the team for over 13 years and every day feel challenged, empowered and valued. The people are incredible - hardworking, passionate, giving and just all-around great people that have turned into lifelong friends! There are no limits on success here and you have direct access to so many talented, helpful people, including senior leadership. The company is on a path to make great things happen for our people, community and clients for a long time!!

Cons

You run hard, but it’s a lot of fun, very rewarding, and a place where you really can find balance. I’ve managed to build a successful career and still keep my family as my top priority!
