Pros

Opportunity and growth if you are-- 1) Attractive 2) Obedient 3) "fun"

Cons

No work life balance. Able to work from home but get emails and calls all day. Aggressive deadlines lead to finger pointing. Leadership is very gossipy. Bosses act like this is still the 1960s. Mad Men wannabee culture. Women who speak up are being told to be less emotional by leadership - rather than being heard. #TimesUp

Pros

Great brands and portfolio. Famous large company with okay benefits.

Cons

Unfortunately, I have seen COTY laying off their employees EVERY year. HR is so overwhelmed that they are never here to guide us in the right direction. I have been with COTY for over eight years, and I have witnessed more than four layoffs. Ironically it was always the best performers that were laid off. So working hard and proving yourself doesn't matter anymore here at COTY. Very disappointing to see. Managers don't care about your growth and tell you that you should be happy to have a job. Once a great company, totally not recognizable anymore. It's just a matter of time before our turn come to be laid off.

Pros

It use to be a great place to work for until the new management was brought in about 2years ago. Coty had a company culture that attracted others. It was entrepreneurial and the senior management listened to those below them. It was a great place to work for but that has since changed.

Cons

They are hiring a lot of people from L'Oreal who are instilling L'Oreal mentality which was not good for moral. A lot of great people have left or being laid off because they are not adopting the new culture. It is becoming what we always criticized about tyrannical companies like L'Oreal.
