Dangerous Ground For Ex P&G Employees

Pros

Work from for field based employees a plus. Great healthcare benefits and company car.

Cons

Loss of P&G stock share plan and retirement benefits. The most important thing at P&G was doing the right thing and ethics. That is definitely not the case at Coty where loading customers is an everyday expectation. Variable pay is coming quickly, which will further cause unethical behavior and low morale due to loss of income.

Pros

Flexible field hours Some benefits Company car

Cons

1. Leadership has no communication 2. Nor do they work together for the greater good of their people. * This represents investing and spending money where it’s not needed. 3. Middle management is not the best equipped to build and grow members of the org. No training 4. Culture. Unfortunately there is no and it is extremely toxic. 5. There has been no change for decades. It’s recyled products relaunched, education formats that are out dated and the sales force is still behind in capability. 6. Productivity = micromanaged & an over abundance of administrative work that really has no purpose or ROI. You won’t have huge impacts with customers.

Pros

Leader in Beauty, Paid Time Off/Summer Fridays

Cons

Coty is not the same place that it used to be prior to the P&G merger. Top management is rude and does not care about their employees. Also, they pay below industry standards and hire people with no Beauty experience to be heads of Marketing and wonder why Consumer Beauty is struggling so much. Process are broken and morale is low with no end in sight as departments continue to be disbanded or moved to Europe. It has become a very depressing place to work.

You highlighted a couple of benefits that make Coty a great place to work, but we clearly have not done enough to make you feel valued. Mergers certainly can present unique challenges that require teams pull together. At Coty, we strive to embrace the Win for the Team mentality, for which we thank you for being a supporter. Please also know we are working to develop talent acquisition strategies that will best support our business. Thank you for taking the time to let us know where we should focus and how we can improve.
