Upper Management is disconnected!

Pros

Awesome portfolio, flexible schedule.

Cons

Upper Management has no idea what the situation is on the ground. Training is terrible (slideshows without practical application!) Pay is not commensurate with the job, neither is the stress level.

Pros

Coty had it good before the merger. It was promising to see it grow. Because the way it was working they were able to acquire all this other companies. Great big family that supported and mentored one another. Good benefits and perks. Good life work balance. That was then...

Cons

Now is a big hot mess! They sifted through a lot of good people and let them go. Kept the yes sir yes ma’am without a back bone, and hired buddies and good friends with no heavy experience and gave them huge salaries. Too many chiefs not enough Indians... they cut budgets where and when its most needed... no clear directions and making them up as they go, so it changes constantly. Heads butting in upper management. The few original people that are still inside are very unhappy and the new ones barely keeping afloat. Though in paper there’s structure, no one follows it and there’s disrespect among the ranks. They’re losing ground and respect with their business partners, and their peer companies are too happy to seeing them fail.
