Pros

Wonderful coworkers, supportive management, learning opportunities, interacting with and getting to know the residents, the feeling that you are doing something that matters and that brings happiness to seniors, great benefits, fair pay, management did not micromanage and allowed me to grow and develop my department under their guidaonce. They care about you as an individual and a human being, and they understand the need for work life balance. Loved it here and miss it.

None. I left for personal reasons unrelated to the job environment or company.

Pros

Being there for the residents.

Cons

The management sucks. Managers pick and choose favorites, treat employees like crap, suspicous activity with people accumulating a lot of call off days, and managers wont give them the datez they called off if they ask for them to keep track. The nurses act like high schoolers instead of grown adults. Caught smoking in the nurses office or getting nasty with PCAs over stuff thats not the PCAs fault. It is horrible.

CM offers many opportunities to advance. Many opportunities for continued training. Take advantage of these opportunities. No other company I worked for cared so much for the current and future opportunities for all their employees. I believe there is always more to learn and more ways to better yourself to help the residents we ate there to help. My advice to current and future employees enjoy your journey with Country Meadows. In doing so, it will never feel like work.

Cons

You will never want to leave... I cried the day I retired. It was truly bitter sweet.
