I am an RN who had not done hands-on nursing in a few years. The training at Country Meadows is very individualized. They allow you to take however long you need to feel comfortable. The nurses are very kind, caring, and knowledgeable. They helped me tremendously when I started. Many of the staff have been there many years (which says a lot) as it is a very pleasant place to work. The residents are extremely well cared for. The facility itself is very clean and has a home-like atmosphere. And the staff all help each other (i.e. the nurses help each other and the CNA's and visa versa).

The residents are the top priority at Country Meadows and the culture reflects that. Our direct caregivers are incredibly dedicated to the residents and it is very rewarding to play a role in fulfilling the motto that "Life Gets Better" for our residents. Country Meadows offers excellent benefits and PTO and the Home Office team is available to assist with inquiries and issues and provide support to those out in the field. I was especially impressed with the IT Help Desk that supports the entire company, they were always very helpful and responsive to our questions and requests for assistance. The company also offers financial assistance to co-workers in need through the Helping Hand Loan program and Co-worker Foundation grant. I was very impressed with the number of ways the company tries to help its co-workers. During my time with the company, the management at Country Meadows was always looking for opportunities to improve communication with co-workers (not an easy task considering the company size and multiple locations) and make appropriate changes based on co-worker feedback. Overall, it was a very caring company to be a part of and I am extremely grateful for the opportunities I had while working at Country Meadows.
