Cons

Not run by educators Lack of educational expertise at highest administration levels History of appointing those without expertise ahead of those with expertise Those in leadership positions do not listen to the rank and file The administration does not "get it". The business of the company is business, but they are business professionals.

Pros

You have an opportunity to continue your education if needed for free or at an discounted rate at some of their schools. They advocate a work from home environment in some departments.

Cons

For IT, it is not the place to be. I would think twice before considering this as your work home away from home.

Pros

Great company outlook, great executive leadership. They are not afraid to make decisions to preserve as many jobs as possible, but they don't keep dead weight around. Focus on work/life balance with Remote Work is a great benefit, but the other benefits packages are slightly lackluster.

Cons

Employee growth is treated as a big focus, but outside of pushing people to get another degree, when it comes to actually getting promoted, your career is left in the hands of whatever middle manager you happen to be reporting to at the time. It is less about what you know, and more about how you treat your leadership, that indicates when and how you will get promoted.
