      Employee groups truly care about customers and the communities where they work

      Cons

      Company is centralizing the decision-making, creating the risk of unrealistic expectations because those making decisions don't understand the local market needs and customers.

      Flexible, team oriented environment

      Pros

      There was a tremendous focus on employee development - training, creating a team oriented environment. There was great flexibility to do what needed to be done. Very customer and employee oriented organization; in general, a good corporate culture to work in.

      Cons

      There were frequent organizational changes which made it difficult to create a stable work environment. While autonomy was encouraged, the down side was a lack of visibility to management

      Pros

      I worked at Cox for 2.7 years and it was very pleasant and love the company values. Mr. Pat Esser the CEO always stopped you in the hallway or stopped by your desk if he was passing by to say hello and introduce himself to you. Love that family atmosphere.

      Cons

      The admins tend to keep to themselves, we had admin meetings but they would always sit with people they already know instead of meeting new people.
