Pros

work truck, independence, tools provided, work provided, high tech, meet lots of people, side jobs

Cons

lame-o supervisor, not real intelligent co-workers, can be high stress at times, not a real sense of accomplishment at the end of the day, working in attics when it's hot, crawling when it's wet under houses, learning curve for newbies.

Pros

overall a very good company. very very good and visible community partner. people are genuinely nice and help. nice discount on company services (cable, phone, internet).

Cons

not very clear about strategic direction and how those plan filter down and impact the general employees. seems like there's a lot of "throw against the wall and let's see what sticks" approach

Pros

Free cable and internet if you work for Cox. yay

Cons

Way too many road block to sell their products. Training was horrible. I had no telecom background and had a week worth of training. So that did not go over to well. I had no idea what I selling or how to sell. I finally get product training 8 month later. Really????? By then who cared becuase I was ready to quit. Sales reps on top of each other and stepping on toes. You better keep track of you CRM because another sell rep with take it right underneath your nose. So sad. I was guilty of that because there little policing. Eat or be eaten. So sad. Management team is horrible. Really don't want to help sell and go on appointment with you. Just sad. High turn over rate. But Cox's gotten a little bit better since I was hired in 2009.
