Poorly designed and implemented software Private company so all communications, activities, and advertisements are very plain Will listen to all feedback but is not very receptive to it Services are always months, if not years, behind the competition

- like most corporations, advancement is more often a matter of who you know, and not what you know - the supervisors are generally incompetent; you would expect your manager - or any manager - to know more than you; in reality, at Cox, it's almost ways the direct report that knows more, so when you need help, going to a supervisor is generally a no-no - horrible lack of communication between floor employees and management; every time you ask a different manager a question about a policy or change thereof, you almost invariably get a different and conflicting answer. The most grating example is when a manager shrugs his or her shoulders and says, "I-uh-no (I don't know.)" Pathetic.
