Sine the merging of two offices to make Team Virginia, Cox Virginia has suffered. The culture has stepped back 10 years to command and control as well as management by fear from senior leadership. In a place where people were encouraged to speak up, people will now get fired for going against the grain of senior leadership. The General Manager chastises managers and supervisors in public and is not open to feedback that doesn't match his beliefs. Sadly, he's very good at managing up and playing politics. This results in the vice presidents who report to him doign the same thing - managing up and playing politics. Information is not shared past the director level (if that far down).
